“Service, Humanisation and Efficiency”, slogan for the 22nd Nursing Awards

On Thursday 12 May, the 22nd MútuaTerrassa Nursing Awards will take place which this year goes by the slogan “Service, Humanisation and Efficiency”. The awards are granted every year to commemorate International Nurses Day and are aimed at promoting research among nursing professionals working every day at MútuaTerrassa. The conference will feature Josep Cuní, journalist, who will give the main talk at 11:30am.

These awards are of a multidisciplinary nature as they encompass the company’s different nursing areas: hospital (MútuaTerrassa University Hospital and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu of Martorell), primary care, medical and social services and private healthcare.



The official opening ceremony will take place at 8:45am and will be led by Ms Cristina de Paz, head of Nursing Care at MútuaTerrassa Àptima Centre Clínic. Also taking part in the event are Ms Judit Fernández, director of the Nursing Department and Primary Care at MútuaTerrassa University Hospital, Ms Núria Gamell, coordinator of Healthcare in the Medical and Social Services Department of MútuaTerrassa and Ms Mercè Farell, director of the Nursing Department of Sant Joan de Déu Foundation of Martorell.



Then at 9:15am, there will be a presentation of the research projects nominated for the awards this year. Out of the 26 projects presented, a total of 21 projects fulfilled the requirements and were accepted. Ms Raquel Cócera, director of the Nursing Department at Àptima Centre Clínic in Terrassa, will be the moderator.





The award ceremony will take place at 4:30pm and be led by Dr. Esteve Picola, CEO of MútuaTerrassa, Dr. Carles Fontcuberta, director of the Healthcare Services Department, and Mr. Francesc Puig, director of the Medical and Social Services Department.
