Given the political situation in Catalonia, La Unió demands respect for democracy and freedom, for the recovery of the governability of our institutions and for the civil and political rights of citizens and our governments.

We are committing to dialogue and to political and social humanism as democratic values ​​that help to build a peaceful and coexisting society.

Likewise, we call for respect for the freedom of civic and serene expression, which is the pride of response of Catalan society.

From our perspective, we will continue working for the health and well-being of people, and for the health of our democracy.
