Good Practices Award 2017 for a project on LEAN management in clinical practice

On November 16, the V Forum of Excellence in Health was held in Madrid, organized by the Club of Excellence in Management and the community of Madrid and its Vice-Ministry of Humanization of Health Care.

During the course of the day, 20 initiatives from different hospitals and clinics throughout the Spanish territory were presented, the MútuaTerrassa University Hospital obtained the award for Good Practices with Lean Management Practice and AMFE Clinical Practice, presented by Dr. Francisco Javier González de Molina. The award was received by Dr. Xesca Moyà, director of the technical process office and Dr. Francisco Javier González de Molina, assistant physician of the Intensive Care Unit.

The Hospital Quirón Salud and San Carlos Clinical Hospital were two of the hospitals also awarded in this 1st edition of the Good Practices Award in the field of Excellence in Healthcare Management. In addition, fifteen health centers received the EFQM Seal of Excellence in recognition of their commitment to Excellence in their management.

The Excellence in Health Forum of the Excellence in Management Club was established in 2010, with the aim of becoming a reference in the development and dissemination of knowledge in the application of the Excel EFQM Model excellence in the health sector. Participate more than 50 organizations belonging to different autonomies, all of the sector of health and socio-health, both public and private and including the entire range of organizations in the field of health (hospitals, counseling, health services, agencies, sector organizations ...)
