Prostate cancer has more than 1.1 million cases registered in 2012 and more than 33,000 cases diagnosed in Spain in 2015. It is the second cancer causing mortality among men and, in the last 5 years, it has increased by 15 % your diagnosis. It is expected that 1 in 10 European men will suffer this cancer throughout their lives.

Unlike other types of cancer, the prostate is characterized by evolving, generally, very slowly and often silently. That is, in early times, it does not present signs or specific symptoms, increasing the possibility of cancer development to other areas of the body.

To address these and other issues, such as the fact of existing early detection programs, Dr. Caballero delivered this conference on the 30th, which will serve to close this year's cycle.

The conference was broadcast live via Facebook live of the digital newspaper El Món Terrassa and has had a reach of 4,478 people, who have generated 2,116 reproductions of the video and 82 interactions.
