This day, which brings together professionals working in Primary Care, Public Health and Social Services, was organized around the presentation of experiences of good practices.


More than 70 projects were attended, of which 8 were selected to perform oral communication. One of these was from CAP Olesa and allowed Dr. Susanna Garcia, family doctor of the CAP Olesa, to explain to the audience the community action of the center's professionals in the PAFES program (the well-known health walks for Olesa).



Participants of CAP Olesa, who presented three more posters to the day were: Nuria García (head of nursing), Maribel Martinez and Pilar Rubio (nurses) and Susanna Garcia (Family doctor). Mrs. Montserrat Vergara (Councilor for Health, Consistory Olesa) also intervened.



The AUPA project

It is a project of various professional and training institutions in the health field to promote community health projects in primary care in Catalonia. It was born in May 2003, as a joint project of the Catalan Society of Family and Community Medicine, the Teaching Units of Family and Community Medicine of Catalonia, the Novartis Chair of the UAB of Research and Teaching in Medicine and the Institute of Health Studies. .



It takes its current name in July 2004, when it is integrated into the Area of ​​Public Health and Research in Health Services of the IES. At present, the Public Health Agency of Barcelona is also a support institution and in 2006 the Family and Community Nursing Association.
