Course on Endocrine Surgery for Residents

On the 8, 9 and 10 October, the General Surgery Department of the MútuaTerrassa University Hospital and the Consorci Sanitari Parc Taulí are organising a Course on Endocrine Surgery for residents of the Spanish Association of Surgeons.

On the 8, 9 and 10 October, the General Surgery Department of the MútuaTerrassa University Hospital and the Consorci Sanitari Parc Taulí are organising a Course on Endocrine Surgery for residents of the Spanish Association of Surgeons.



This course, based on theory and practice, is led by Dr. Enrique Veloso, chief of the HUMT General Surgery Department, Dr. Itziar Larrañaga, consulting physician in the HUMT General Surgery Department and Dr. Xavier Guirao, doctor in the General Surgery Department of the Consorci Sanitari del Parc Taulí.



This course will provide resident physicians with practical and theoretical information about the fundamental aspects of diagnosing and treating endocrine surgical disease. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of surgical anatomy, diagnosis techniques, indications, strategy, surgical techniques, the prevention of complications and the outcomes of endocrine surgery. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to assist professors perform some of the most common endocrine surgeries.
