Dr. Trenado, Dr. Martí and Dr. Navas participate in the program "La nit dels savis" of Canal Terrassa

Presented by egarense Jordi Dueso, "La nit dels savis", which is broadcast every Friday at nine o'clock in the evening by Canal Terrassa, is a space of disclosure that every week tackles a different question from the perspective of the elder people.

In this regard, last Friday, June 16, the theme chosen was donors and transplants. The guests were Dr. José Trenado, Transplant Coordinator and Chief of the Intensive Medicine Service and Dr. Josep M. Martí, Chief of the Hematology Service - both of the HUMT - who spoke about the types of transplants that can be performed today in Day, as well as donations of both organs and tissues.

Also involved during the program were Dr. Maria del Mar Pujol, Chief of the Blood Bank of Terrassa and Dr. Navas, who gave her testimony as Coordinator of transplantation HUMT, explaining the relationship with relatives when a donation is raised and how to proceed to the extraction of organs. Thus, a group of patients who have been self-transplanted at the MútuaTerrassa University Hospital, with stem cells obtained from peripheral blood (TASP), also participated.
