The morning magazine of the Municipal Radio of Terrassa is interested in the resistances to antibiotics and the Stroke

Last Tuesday, October 23, the morning magazine "El submarino" of the Municipal Radio of Terrassa invited Dr. Esther Calbo, deputy physician to the Internal Medicine service, coordinator of the Infectious Diseases Unit and deputy director of the VINCat program for Know the causes and risks derived from resistance to current antibiotics.

The interview was motivated by the celebration, on October 19, of the session held in the teaching building on this same issue. Coinciding with the celebration of the conference on the stroke of "Los Jueves de Mutua" on October 25, the Municipal Radio of Terrassa was also interested in knowing more about this cerebrovascular disease that affects the blood vessels that supply blood to the brain.



In this sense, Dr. Sonia Huertas, Dr. Jéssica Molina and Dr. Sarah Besora, adjuncts to the Neurology service of MútuaTerrassa University Hospital and who were in charge of the conference they delivered the same afternoon in the Teaching Building.



In the course of the interview they referred to the functioning of the brain, its anatomy as well as some data related to the number of cases that are detected and in the part of the population that it affects. However, they also talked about the causes, symptoms and treatment of this disease and made reference to the Stroke Code (activation of the circuit, etc.).
