Between the 7th and the 10th of June, Barcelona hosted the 5th International Conference of the International Association for Music and Medicine, within the framework of which Sergi Muñiz and Lourdes Forn participated. This congress, promoted by the International Association for Music and Medicine (IAMM), is held biannually with the aim of gathering and showing the work that is being done -in an international level- from music therapy in the medical field.

The Vallparadís Foundation participates in the 5th conference of the International Association for Music and Medicine
Sergi gave the lecture "Music therapy in stroke rehabilitation", a study carried out in the Sociosanitario Vallparadís with patients with stroke in the rehabilitation phase. In addition, together with Lourdes, both presented the poster "Individual Music Therapy in people with severe dementia from person centered care approach", a work done with people with dementia of the Casa Vapor Gran and the Falguera Residence, both centers of the Vallparadis Foundation.
