It is a new antibiotic aimed at the treatment of infections by multiresistant bacteria. This study is promoted by COMBACTE, a consortium between the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Disease and the pharmaceutical industry that aims to promote epidemiological research and the development of new antibiotics. Since 2016 GRIMIMT participates in studies promoted by COMBACTE.
