Nurses of Vascular Surgery of the HUMTparticipen to the 30th National Congress of Vascular Nursing and Wounds

On June 7 and 8, the 30th edition of the National Congress of Vascular Nursing and Wounds was held in Madrid, this year under the theme "Efficient Nursing: responsible care management".

Several nurses from the Vascular Surgery plant attended with the purpose of knowing firsthand the most recent updates in this area and also presented a poster by Adriana Soler, Amanda Regueiro and Anna Cabasés.

With the title "Optimization of a complex wound with the presence of Biofilm, combining a solution of Undecilenamidopropyl Betaine plus Polyhexanide (Prontosan®), Dialquilcarbamoyl chloride dressings (CutimedSorbact®) and Negative Pressure Therapy", the poster addressed the follow-up of the evolution of a complex wound with the application of a combined treatment with TPN, which has allowed to accelerate healing, reduce the number of cures to the autograft, improve the comfort and satisfaction of the patient and, therefore, has meant a better quality of life for him.
