The residence and day center "El Tamariu", located in El Prat de Llobregat and specialized in the care of people with intellectual disabilities, celebrated this year a very important event: the 10th anniversary of its inauguration, which took place on the 21st March 2007. There are several events that have been organized throughout the year and the magazine of the Catalan Association of Health Care Resources in its last issue.

As reported in the news, among the many activities developed, highlights the edition of the book "10 years of El Tamariu", a work that reviews - along sixty pages - the daily life of the residents of the center and a decade of experiences and shared experiences. With a presentation by the director of the center, Mr. Xavier Vidal, the book collects multiple commented instantaneous of what is and has been the day to day of the residence.
