The day focused on a conference, with the title: "Translational medicine and importance in the treatment of wounds", by Mr. Domingo Barber Sánchez, director of the Institute of Applied Molecular Medicine (IMMA) of the San Pablo University CEU. Madrid. The communications were distributed in two round tables, "Update on basic and clinical research in the treatment of wounds" and "Update on the use of silver in the treatment of wounds." In this last table the intervention of Jesús Sánchez Jiménez took place with the communication: "Use of Silver Pressure Ulcers", which highlighted the use of silver in the resolution of complex wounds in the field of home care.
