This initiative is promoted by the Half Marathon Sports Association of Terrassa (AEMMT) and MútuaTerrassa.

28/09/2015 - Integralia Vallès Foundation promotes the integration of people with disabilities thanks to the MútuaTerrassa contact centre.

Currently, the centre employs 22 people with disabilities, 50% of whom are residents of the county. These employees service 1,500 calls a day.

On Monday 28 September, we invite you to the presentation of Integralia Vallès Foundation, created by MútuaTerrassa and DKV Integralia Foundation. It has a dual objective: promote the professional integration of people with physical disabilities in Vallès region and develop contact centre services to provide the residents in MútuaTerrassa’s coverage area with access to an over-the-phone service.

In its fifth social commitment report referring to 2014, MútuaTerrassa achieved the maximum level of Global Compact Advanced. Since 2009, the company has been a member of the UN Global Compact, which granted the company its highest level. This report reflects MútuaTerrassa’s notable social commitment over the past six years.

30/07/2015 - A study on pancreas cancer shows important benefits via focused ultrasound

Focused Ultrasound (FUS) is a safe and effective treatment method that can increase the survival rate of non-operable pancreas cancer, according to a study recently published in the British journal, Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, and carried out by Dr. Joan Vidal-Jové, head of the HIFU programme of Surgical Oncology at MútuaTerrassa University Hospital, and his team.
