II conference of maternal medical pathology during pregnancy
Sala MútuaTerrassa Edifici Docent - Sant Antoni, 39 - Terrassa - Scientific eventsThe management of pregnant women with preexisting medical pathology is often a challenge for the professionals who care for these patients. It requires the participation of interdisciplinary teams and the coordination of actions by the different specialties that participate.
The complexity of management is determined by the possible decompensation of the disease as a consequence of the changes that take place during pregnancy, by the effect that the disease can have on the pregnancy and the fetus, as well as the risk of side effects and teratogenicity with the use of drugs.
On the other hand, interdisciplinary work is a challenge in daily clinical practice requiring coordination, joint protocols and constant dialogue among all team members. We often work in watertight compartments, and without sufficient coordination so that the results are optimal.
The day wants to establish a space for dialogue between obstetric and medical specialty professionals to update current knowledge and seek collaboration strategies to improve care for pregnant women with medical conditions.

Advanced Workshop in Sacral Root Neurostimulation
Sala egara Edifici Docent - Sant Antoni, 39 - Terrassa - Scientific eventsThis advanced workshop will take place next Thursday, November 15th , and is mainly aimed at surgeons with an initial experience in sacred neuromodulation who want to delve into issues such as the therapeutic approach in the most complex indications such as the lower anterior resection syndrome or neurological patients, how to deal with the incidences of follow-up and advanced learning in terms of electrical programming. Attendees have the obligation to provide their own clinical case that will be discussed in a specific space of the Workshop.

It will be pronounced by Dr. Francesc Fàbregas, gynecologist of Àptima Centro Clínico and will take place at 6pm at the Culture House of Sant Cugat del Vallès.
